Councillor David Archer has represented Esher for the last 12 years as Councillor. He has lived in Esher for 17 years. His business is based in Esher and he can be seen out and about in town regularly.

David is Chairman of the King Georges Hall Trust and a Founder Member of the Esher Business Guild which has now started upgrading our High Street. He was instrumental in organising French Markets for Esher High Street along with the Controlled Parking Zones, puffin crossings, Christmas lights and the shuttle bus.

In his spare time he is Chairman of Esher Place Residents Limited and a member of both Esher Rugby Club and Esher Cricket Club. Since the Conservatives formed the largest group at the last elections, David has served in the Cabinet holding the portfolio for Highways and Transportation.

The new puffin crossings at Esher Green are hoped to slow traffic down and improve safety for pedestrians.

It is still Councillor Archer's intention to move the War Memorial further up the green to enhance Remembrance Sundays.
